TerminalFour creates 20 new jobs

15-04-2008

by Deirdre McArdle

Dublin-based content management firm TerminalFour is to create 20 new jobs over the next two years on foot of a EUR3 million investment.

The EUR3 million, which was provided by a combination of private equity and retained profits, will be ploughed into three areas: development of the firm's enterprise web content management software, boosting international marketing, and a move to a larger Dublin headquarters.

As TerminalFour looks to target new markets in Europe, the Middle East and the US, it will be hiring 20 highly skilled employees, including software developers, project managers and partner marketing and support personnel. Recruitment is currently underway for these positions, which will be based in the firm's headquarters in Dublin.

According to the firm, its flagship product, Site Manager, has recently been upgraded to cater for market trends including increasing globalisation, information complexity and the need for more streamlined information communication. Multilingual capabilities have also been added, which the firm says means the product is well placed to break into its new target markets.

The company was established in 1996 and is headquartered in Dublin, with a sales and support office in the UK and partners located across Europe and the Middle East including Spain, Poland and Dubai. Its key customers are third level institutions and the public sector. It counts IDA Ireland, Shannon Development and the department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government as customers.

In July of last year the firm scooped a lucrative EUR1.3 million contract to provide content management solutions to nine university websites including University College Dublin, the University of Glasgow, the University of St. Andrews and the University of Virginia.
