This Web site is nothing less than a resource for filtering the cyber-morass of software available on the Internet. Published daily, this Baltimore-based site reviews and makes available various kinds of software that the publisher deems "cool." In order to be listed on Cool Tools, software need only meet two criteria; a downloadable trial version must be available, and it must be cool. According to the reviewers being cool requires the software be fun, solve a problem, be weird or just interesting. It is debatable how useful these applications are but it undoubtedly seems to pick up on the occasional gem.
