Having been a recent visitor to the USA this reporter had the pleasure of experiencing the satisfaction that's to be had in using the iPhone. There is no denying that it is a wonderful package with a superb finger-controlled interface. Problem is you are locked to whomever Apple decides to deal with in each market. In Ireland that looks like it will be O2 and who knows when we'll actually get the device? So hurrah for the free market and independent programmers willing to, as they say in the US, 'stick it to the man' for making it so hard to just use a device you've paid for, with whichever service you choose. Expect to see others follow where this site leads and, no doubt, the legality of what it is doing, being tested in various courts.
