Microblogging. In case you didn't know, it's about posting very short updates on whatever takes your fancy to your blog, myspace, facebook or twitter profile, so others who care what you have to say, know what you're up to. Typically it's less than 160 characters. For some it's been a useful addition to the pantheon of possibilities for throwing out your prose to the people. Problem is, with so many services offering micro updates, it's becoming a hassle to maintain a variety of profiles with each micro-update you add. That's where HelloTxt comes in. It allows you to tick all the 3rd party services where you have a profile and then enter your message. This gets broadcast to each service you select. Simple and effective. One entry to fill them all.
