Quentin Fottrell is offering advice on-line in what he describes as "Ireland's only independent on-line advice column." Fottrell is a Dublin-based freelance writer who has contributed to a variety of newspapers and magazines in Ireland and the UK. He has experience as an actor, has travelled the world and seems to be well read. While nobody knows what kind of qualifications a person needs to handout advice, Fottrell does a good job. His advice is sound, and his thoughts are generally insightful and he is sometimes funny. Beware, he may not always tell you what you want to hear, but his advice seems honest and is always sensitive to the feelings of his readers.
