Some sites can only be described as really cool! This is one of them. Belgian Erik Viktor has worked as a scientific illustrator for sixteen years and has put together a dazzling portfolio of his work on-line. This site, which admittedly has an amateur feel to it, gives users the chance to take tour through some of the most amazing images and animations that can be found anywhere on the Internet. Users can see his rendition of nanobots fighting dangerous blood clot or a futuristic space ship preparing for a deep space mission. For science-fact, and science-fiction lovers this site is a visual feast. Some of the files are quite large so downloading can be lengthy, but it is worth it. Users aught to be sure they have Flash, Quicktime and Real Media installed however, some videos seem to work better in one format or another.
