According to Etain Doyle, the Telecoms Regulator, some of the applications are already available in Ireland. The Next Generation Networks Briefing Note is available on the ODTR Web site.

North Yorkshire Police will invest STG5.4 million to replace its existing communications network with an integrated voice and data service which will be managed by BT over a five year term.
