ENN news for a mobile generation

With an increasing number of PDAs offering wireless connectivity, ENN has developed a simple interface for people on the move who want to stay in touch.
If you already own one of the growing number of PDAs or PDA/phone hybrids, you may have wondered what else you can do with it, other than making calls or managing your diary.
It is easier than ever to access the web and email while on the move, using PDAs like the Treo line from Handspring, the XDA from O2 or a multitude of other handheld wireless devices.
In recognition of this trend, ENN has launched a simplified version of its news site to allow mobile users to access content on the go.
All you need to do is start your PDA/phone's browser and point it to http://www.enn.ie/mobile. For Pocket PC devices you can use the Internet Explorer browser, while Palm devices can use the excellent EudoraWeb which includes a mobile email solution.
Alternatively, you can download the free Avantgo client for Palm or Pocket PC and configure your account to automatically download the latest ENN news directly into your PDA, whether wireless enabled or not, via your home or work internet connection.
REMINDER - you can still access ENN's latest news via your phone's WAP browser. Just point it to http://wap.enn.ie. See ENN's WAP site now with the Mobone Browser
