Hibernia Evros beds down with Travelodge | Tyndall to create 20 new jobs

Irish firm Clavis Technology has been included in Gartner's 2010 Cool Vendors in Data Management and Integration report. Headquartered in Dublin Clavis has developed a cloud-based data quality solution for data capture and origination processes -- Clavis Data Steward.
Samsung Ireland is to launch a range of full HD 3D LED TVs in Ireland by the end of April. Samsung said the TVs will support new content and applications, including Skype, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and MUZU TV, an online music channel. The company will also run a EUR250,000 marketing campaign to support the launch.
The National Digital Research Centre is calling for companies and academics to apply for its 'Catalyser' investment programme. Specifically, the centre is looking for project proposals that are focused in one of four key application areas: Education; Entertainment; Healthcare or the Environment. Find out more here.
Hibernia Evros Technology Group has won a deal to manage the IT requirements of the budget hotel chain Travelodge. A value for the deal was not released.
UCC's Tyndall Institute has said it will create 20 new jobs. The news comes as Tyndall wins EUR8 million in a European funding competition. Read more here.
